How GiftSnitch helps

Shareable Wishlist Links

Generate a link for any child's wishlist and send it to grandparents, aunts, uncles — anyone. They don't need an account to view it.

Gift Claim System

When someone claims a gift from a wishlist, everyone else sees it's taken. No more duplicate presents and no more awkward returns.

Group Collaboration

Invite your partner, co-parent, or family coordinator to your group. Everyone sees the same gift lists and spending data in real time.

Coordinate Without the Group Chat

Stop texting "did anyone buy the Lego set?" GiftSnitch shows who's buying what, so the whole family stays in sync without endless messages.

How family gift coordination works

Build the wishlist, then share a link

Create a wishlist for each person and fill it with ideas, prices, and product links — the browser extension lets you save items straight from any store. When the list is ready, generate a share link and send it to grandparents two states away, the aunt who always asks "what do they need?", or the whole extended family at once. Recipients open the link in any browser and do not need to create a GiftSnitch account to see it, which removes the usual barrier that keeps less tech-savvy relatives out of the loop.

Let the claim system kill duplicate gifts

The moment a relative claims a gift from the list, everyone else viewing it sees that the item is taken. That single feature ends the classic extended-family problem where grandma and an uncle independently buy the same scooter, and it spares everyone the awkward post-holiday return run. The person the list is for never sees who claimed what, so distance and coordination do not come at the cost of the surprise. Claims update for everyone in real time, which matters most in the final week before a holiday when several relatives are shopping at once.

Coordinate without the endless group chat

Instead of a 40-message thread asking "did anyone get the Lego set yet?", GiftSnitch shows who is buying what in one shared view. Invite your partner or a family coordinator into your group so everyone sees the same lists and status updates in real time across states and time zones. And when the family wants to draw names for a gift exchange, the built-in Secret Santa name draw handles the matching, so even a sprawling, far-flung family stays perfectly in sync. It all works on the web and as an iOS and Android app, which means the relative who lives on their phone and the one who only checks a laptop can both stay in the loop.
